Develop your organisation’s face to face and remote facilitation capability
Facilitating learning is a specialist skill. From managing a group’s energy, directing their attention, to landing key learning points, great facilitators and trainers know how to plan, design and deliver sessions that meet the client’s needs.
And yet too often, training programmes seem to be based around a long PowerPoint presentation and a ‘tell’ style.
We can help train expert facilitation skills that will equip you to run your own in-house programmes far more effectively. Using your own training material as a case study, we’ll help you become engaging, effective facilitators that deliver real learning that sticks.
Exceptional Remote Training: How to train others effectively, remotely
In a world where virtual or remote training is becoming more and more normalised, the need to truly engage learners is even more important. Learners participating from home, for example, can be distracted by 101 things, so you need to work harder to break through. You need to be able to engage them, track their energy and keep them in ‘learning mode’ throughout.
Our live online training will enable you to deliver what you already do… but remotely. The result will be a powerful addition to your offer.
Who’s it for?
This is specifically for trainers who want to deliver courses online that are consistently engaging. If your organisation employs a team of trainers, we can train them all as a group to deliver equally effectively in the online space.
What do you get?
Our remote workshops give an experience of remote training at its best with real human connections between participants in a psychologically safe space. You’ll find out how to adapt your small-group activities for live online events, even those activities that involve moving around. You’ll also discover effective strategies for modulating a group’s energy and avoiding overload so that the default is on-going focus not a retreat into multitasking.
By the end of the workshops you’ll feel confident about the technology for remote training, prepared to overcome the limitations, and confident about exploiting the potential of live online sessions to deliver the maximum possible value for participants.
How is it delivered?
There are four two-hour modules, delivered remotely, which can also be delivered online as two half-day workshops.
We recommend doing trainings like this in the morning while people are still fresh and to avoid ‘Zoom’ (or other VC platform) fatigue!
